The Steelers running back Najee Harris is showing an encouraging return to fitness in videos posted on social media.

Mike Tomlin is a big advocate for Harris but knows the situation is largely due to salary caps and potential return on investment down the line.

“Obviously, Naj has been a model of consistency since he’s been with us,” Tomlin said. “I think I saw a statistic about his three 1,000-yard seasons being rare company, and I just think that illustrates how he’s been for us.”
The first-round pick in 2021 is just the fourth ranked player in NFL history to have three successive 1,000 yard plus seasons in his first three attempts, in terms of total yards made per season.
