“I played in Death Valley after Joe Burrow” Jayden Daniels Unfazed By Idea of Following Tom Brady After Pressures of LSU

Entering the upcoming 2024 NFL draft, Jayden Daniels’ stock could not be much higher after an incredible college season with the LSU Tigers. While some young quarterback’s may be feeling the pressure, Daniels remains composed an assured about what he can offer an NFL franchise.

Daniels is projected to be a top five pick with some experts believing the 23-year-old could be selected as high as no. 2 overall. If the Washington Commanders do decide to pass on Daniels, the New England Patriots hold the third pick. After legendary quarterback Tom Brady led the franchise to six Super Bowls in 20 seasons, it is safe to assume Pats fans have high standards for their quarterbacks.

Daniels was recently asked if he could handle the pressure of following three-time NFL MVP Tom Brady.

“I played in Death Valley after Joe Burrow,” responded Daniels per a recent article from CBS Sports. “I feel like I’m ready for anything. I’m a game-changer at the quarterback position. That’s what I can bring to that franchise.”

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow remains the standard when it comes to college quarterbacks. The Ohio native went undefeated his final season to lead the LSU Tiger to a perfect 15-0 season and win the national championship, defeating Clemson 42-25. He finished his historic year in Louisiana with 5671 passing yards, 60 touchdowns and a 76.3 completion percentage.

Last year, Daniels jumped up the draft rankings with an impressive 3812 passing yards, 1134 rushing yards and 50 total touchdowns.
