Sweat-stained Yankees jerseys add another element to Fanatics uniform fail

Fanatics uniforms were the talk of spring training across Major League Baseball, and on Opening Day, New York Yankees fans got an unwelcome reminder why.

The flaws are glaring, see-through pants, unappealing numbers, questionable craftsmanship, and now, a ridiculous amount of sweat visible on the jerseys.

As the Yankees celebrated a thrilling comeback, eagle-eyed fans couldn’t help but notice the unsightly sweat stains adorning the jerseys of star players Aaron Judge and Juan Soto.

Yeah, Fanatics may have hoped the chatter about their uniforms had died down, but this latest mishap ensures it’ll remain a hot topic throughout the season.

There always seems to be something new highlighting the issues with the jerseys.

The Yankees faced an early struggle against the Astros, trailing 4-0 after just two innings. However, this only set the stage for a heroic comeback.

Nester Cortes found his rhythm on the mound, retiring 11 of the last 12 batters he faced.

Meanwhile, the Yankees’ offense sparked to life, with Soto driving in the team’s first run of the season and subsequent plays tying the game.

Oswaldo Cabrera’s homer in the sixth inning and Alex Verdugo’s clutch sacrifice fly in the seventh put New York ahead.

But it was Soto’s defensive prowess, showcased with a laser-like throw from right field to home plate in the bottom of the ninth, that secured the victory.
