The 23-year-old Super Bowl champion and wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, Rashee Rice, has reportedly come under a police investigation regarding a major accident.
According to Dallas Morning News via law enforcement officials, it was noted that a vehicle was leased to or registered to the wide receiver and in Northeast Dallas, the vehicle was reported to have been involved in a crash.
As per ESPN, the Dallas Morning News acquired a police call sheet, further giving confirmation that the officials are now searching for Rice due to his involvement in the crash. Further details have not yet been disclosed by the police, considering anyone reporting injury.
However, it is still unknown whether Rice is being charged or not and his involvement in the crash is still unclear as well. Rice was selected in the 2023 NFL Draft in the second round as the 55th pick by the Kansas City Chiefs and later became their top-notch wide receiver. As per Pro Football Talk, he also went on to create a rookie record by posting twenty-six catches in the postseason.
