The All-Star guard of the New York Knicks, Jalen Brunson, has become one of the fundamental players and the Knicks are currently standing fourth in the Eastern Conference.
Brian Windhorst says Jalen Brunson is a ‘foul hunter’
“He doesn’t have the reputation of Harden or Trae Young, but he’s a foul hunter….he uses the dark arts. This is what the referees are cracking down on, the fouls that he gets sometimes are not what they’re going to give… pic.twitter.com/KwWnHI56oZ

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst has called the two-time NCAA champion a “foul hunter”. He further mentioned, “He doesn’t have the reputation of Harden or Trae Young, but he’s a foul hunter….he uses the dark arts. This is what the referees are cracking down on, the fouls that he gets sometimes are not what they’re going to give him.”
The guard is currently averaging 27.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game. With the addition of Brunson, the Knicks have fared much better and for the season, they are 44-30. They were recently defeated by the Oklahoma City Thunder with a final score of 112-113.

Windhorst further mentioned, “The Knicks is impressive as they have been they’re in a spot these games are all so tight down at the end of the game, they need these calls so it feels a little bit more painful because they’re in so much need of them right now.”
However, the league is now much more aware of these tactics and if they are used in the games, the players get penalized. The NBA has also modified its regulations to punish the players who violate the foul policy on the court.
