Through the weeks of free agency, the Seattle Seahawks have seen its starting guards and the starting center from 2023 leave or remain unsigned.

A surprise turn of events that has left fans curious about the team’s next step.

No stranger to such developments, General Manager, John Schneider, has signed Nick Harris and Tremayne Anchrum to bolster the team’s interior line.

During his recent appearance on Seattle Sports, Schneider expressed that the team was prepping to bring in a couple of offensive linemen’s veterans as part of the second phase of free agency.

His statement, “We’re going to be bringing a couple of veteran offensive linemen through in this second phase of free agency, and then comparing that what the draft looks like. . . . That is a need on our team right now, I think it’s fairly obvious.”

The upcoming weeks will undoubtedly see an array of mock drafts surfacing, teasing the fan’s curiosity further.

The forecast of Seattle Seahawks picking an offensive lineman 16th overall might just hit the mark.

The likelihood is even more given the recent commentaries by Schneider. With the current state of the team, a round 1 draft pick of an offensive lineman could be more strategic than previously thought.

It might be an attempt to balance the equation between experience from the veterans and raw talent from the rookie.
