The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) network is reveling in remarkable viewingship numbers in the first quarter of 2024.

All three of the media giant’s weekly shows are experiencing significant growth in the valuable 18-49 demographic, building on momentum established in 2023.

Topping the highlight reel, Friday Night SmackDown reported a noteworthy 15% increase in viewership compared to Q1 of last year.

The show attracted an impressive total of 892k viewers within the desired 18-49 age group. A standout moment that undoubtedly boosted ratings for SmackDown was the episode aired on February 16.

This thrilling installment, which concluded with The Rock teaming up with reigning WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, pulled in an extraordinary 985k viewers in the 18-49 age bracket, topping the ratings for primetime broadcast shows that week.

Monday Night Raw also witnessed a positive trend with a 6% increase in viewership from last year, totalling 733k viewers in the 18-49 demographic.

Two noteworthy Raw episodes are credited with the ratings swell. The Rock’s cameo on the episode aired January 1, and Pat McAfee’s long-awaited return to the commentary desk on January 29 were significant draws.

McAfee’s comeback was well received by fans, pulling in 811k viewers, a commendable 13% surge from the previous week, putting Raw at the top of the cable ratings chart.

It’s not just the flagship shows enjoying the ratings boom. NXT recorded an astounding 31% uptick in the 18-49 demographic compared to Q1 of 2023.

While NXT might lack the star power seen on Raw and SmackDown, it is nonetheless benefiting from the overall surge in WWE’s popularity.
