Jason Kelce recently retired from the NFL after a stellar 13-year-long career with the Philadelphia Eagles. Now, Jason’s wife, Kylie appeared in an interview with Today Show and mentioned that the ex-NFL center is exploring various options and is quite capable in whatever he pursues.
“He’s my husband so I’m biased, but he’s so good at everything he tries. It’s kinda a pain in the butt,” said Mrs. Kelce.
She added:
“I think he’s an ideas guy so I think he’s just letting them brew and see what happens.”
Kylie Kelce also shared some interesting details about her husband Jason’s retirement on the Today Show.
Apparently, Jason had been contemplating retirement for years and had been working on his emotional speech for a long time, even before they started dating.
According to Kylie, Jason wanted his speech to be a proper farewell that expressed his thanks to everyone who helped him throughout his career. He saw it as a way to acknowledge the coaches, teammates, and everyone who played a role in his journey.
While his football career is over, Kylie hopes their daughters will learn the valuable life lessons Jason gained from the sport. Kylie wants their daughters to understand the positive impact Jason had on Philadelphia.
She additionally talked about how Jason loved the city, its people, and how he actively gave back through charities.
FYI, Kylie’s main purpose for being on the show was to discuss her work with the Eagles Autism Foundation. Currently, she works as a senior event consultant and wants to raise awareness for autism.
Apart from talking about Jason Kelce and the Eagles Autism Foundation, Kylie also expressed her happiness for her brother-in-law, Travis Kelce’s romance with Taylor Swift.
