“We Saw a White Girl in Iowa do it to a Bunch of Black Girls” NBA Champion Paul Pierce Shocked to See Caitlin Clark Overcome LSU

After an illustrious career that saw him play 19 seasons in the NBA with four different teams, Paul Pierce now finds himself in a new role. The 10-time All-Star and former NBA Finals MVP is working alongside Skip Bayless and Keyshawn Johnson on Fox Sports’ popular show Undisputed.

The NCAA Tournament matchup between Iowa and LSU was one of the most anticipated games in women’s basketball in decades with the two teams that faced off in last year’s championship meeting in Albany. Fans were excited to see Caitlin Clark go up against Angel Reese in a win or go home atmosphere.

Pierce has a deep understanding of the game of basketball but offered a bizarre summary of Monday’s memorable Elite 8 matchup between Iowa and LSU.

“I’m just gonna keep it 100 with you,” said Pierce. “We saw a white girl in Iowa do it to a bunch of Black girls. That gained my respect… Put them on her knee and spanked them…I didn’t expect that”

Caitlin Clark went off with 41 points, 12 assists and seven rebounds to lead the Hawkeyes to a 94-87 victory over the Tigers. It was a memorable performance from one of women’s basketball’s biggest names, who may have been looking for some pay back after last year’s crushing defeat in the finals.

Pierce summarized Clark’s outing as “the greatest performance I’ve ever seen in the NCAA Tournament, girl or boy.”
