Trade Alert: Buffalo Bills to Send Stefon Diggs to Houston Texans in Major NFL Deal

The Buffalo Bills are reportedly concluding a trade that will send the four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver, Stefon Diggs, to the Houston Texans.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, “Compensation updates, per sources: Bills receive 2025 second-round pick via Minnesota. Texans receive Stefon Diggs and a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick.”

The Bills for the exchange will receive a 2025 second-round pick of Minnesota Vikings and the Texans will acquire a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick as well.

Diggs was selected in the 2015 NFL Draft in the fifth round as the 146th pick and was selected by the Minnesota Vikings. He played with the Vikings from 2015 to 2019 and then joined the Buffalo Bills, where he stayed from 2020 to 2024.

In 2020, he was the NFL receptions leader and the receiving yards leader. As per ESPN’s Stephen Holder, the wide receiver had earlier shared regarding his future, “I feel like I take it day by day. Obviously, there’s a lot of changes going on, a lot of things going on. I can’t really put the carriage before the horse, you know what I’m saying? But I got a great offseason in front of me to put a lot of work in and kind of build around what we got and what we’re doing. I can’t tell you what the future holds, but I’m still being me.”

The Bills had signed the prominent wide receiver to a four-year $96 million. As of 2023, Diggs has registered 810 receptions, with 9,995 receiving yards, including 67 receiving touchdowns.
