The relationship with Bronny James and USC basketball has not quite panned out the way both parties may have expected. James, the son of four-time NBA MVP LeBron James, has had a difficult year since making the move up to the college game. After suffering a cardiac arrest prior to the season, Bronny"s minutes were limited and he has struggled to make the impact he may have hoped for.
A report recently emerged that Bronny James could now be looking to enter the college basketball transfer portal. If that were to be the case, several schools would be interested in the 19-year-old Ohio native.
Following the Los Angeles Lakers 128-111 win over the Toronto Raptors, LeBron James was asked about his son"s basketball future and seemed caught off guard.
“I don’t where [the report] came from, but at the end of the day Bronny is his own man. He has some tough decisions to make and when he’s ready to make those decisions he’ll let us all know. But as his family, we"ll support whatever he does," said James.

LeBron James has stated on several occasions that he hopes to stay in the NBA long enough to play alongside his son.
Last season, Bronny averaged just 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assist per game for the Trojans.
Despite his unimpressive numbers, many are speculating that NBA teams could be ready to take a chance on Bronny. The idea of pairing him with his father, who is a 20-time All-Star, is an exciting idea for any team in the league.
