Drake Maye to visit with Patriots on Friday

The New England Patriots are gearing up to evaluate a potential quarterback prospect as they schedule a visit with former North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye on Friday.

Maye is set to meet with the Patriots in person, marking the third interaction between the player and the team. Previously, Maye had engaged with the Patriots during the scouting combine and ahead of his Pro Day.

With the draft approaching, the landscape of potential selections is becoming clearer. The Chicago Bears are widely expected to select Caleb Williams as the top overall pick, leaving Maye and Jayden Daniels as the primary quarterbacks likely to be drafted at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

Recent betting odds have indicated a shift, with Maye being favored to go second overall to the Washington Football Team, while Daniels is projected to land with the Patriots.

During his tenure at North Carolina, Maye showcased his talent, amassing 8,018 passing yards, along with 63 touchdowns and 16 interceptions in 30 games.
