Tari Eason’s attempt to taunt the Golden State Warriors didn’t go as planned on Thursday night. While sitting out due to an injury, the Houston Rockets forward wore a shirt referencing the movie “The Warriors,” with the phrase “Warriors come out to play.” However, the Warriors responded by defeating the Rockets 133-110.
The rivalry between the Warriors and Rockets has been heating up as both teams vie for the No. 10 seed and a chance to compete in the Play-In tournament. Despite the Rockets’ impressive 11-game winning streak, Golden State stayed ahead in the standings.
“That’s pretty lame. Especially if you’re not even playing … you’re just gonna be trolling from the sideline. Bro, what are we doing?”

Last week, after the Rockets’ 10th consecutive win, Eason took to Instagram to call out the Warriors. Then, during the game against the Warriors, he took his trolling to the next level by wearing the shirt.
However, the move backfired as the Rockets lost the game. Warriors’ star Klay Thompson criticized Eason’s actions, calling them “lame” and questioning why he would taunt from the sidelines without even playing.
With this loss, the Rockets have dropped three games after their winning streak. With only six games left in the season, they trail the Warriors by four games in the standings, making it a tough road ahead for them to secure a spot in the Play-In tournament.
