“All of us going to pay for that” Colorado’s Deion Sanders Comes Down Hard on Team After Players Leave Locker Room in Shameful State

Deion Sander is considered a players’ coach for his ability to relate and connect with young players. When necessary, however, Sanders has shown that he can be firm and tough on his team.

Known endearingly as “Coach Prime,” Sanders has built his coaching reputation on his ability to recruit some of the nation’s top talent. The 56-year-old is is now entering his fourth year coaching a university program and is fast realizing the importance of discipline when come to managing young men.

In a clip that has now gone viral on social media, Sanders is seen reprimanding his Colorado players after a video emerged of a filthy locker room.

“We know whose lockers those were. But, we are a team correct? So all of us going to pay for that,” said Sander. “We going to take care of that after practice and if one of you’ll quit, you are off the team…We are not going to live like that.”

Sanders was direct with the squad and made it clear that they need to better.

“That, is not who we are. We going to be good on the field, off the field and in the community. We are not raising boys, we are raising men.”

In his first season coaching the Buffaloes, Sanders finished with 4-8 record but was able to  completely transform the way the program is viewed. Attendance numbers and national interest soured and even applications increased after his arrival.
