More on why a Caitlin Clark book is about so much more than Caitlin Clark. Asked Lisa Bluder today about the way she wears the mantle of @cvivianstringer and Christine Grant. This is a 2024 story, and a 1993 story, and a 1978 story, and a 1972 story. Even a 1921 story. pic.twitter.com/A8sSIuuWBw

Megdal’s next book will be based on Iowa Hawkeyes and its legacy and Clark will take a pivotal place. The book will also focus on the icons and will highlight their legacy which made sure that many talented players in future could take the prominence of its program further.
Megdal in his post also acknowledged icon Molly Bolin Kazmer who was the first player from Iowa to play in the professional league. He also appreciated Jan Jensen who is the assistant head coach of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The Hall of Famer, Lisa Bluder is currently the head coach of the Hawkeyes. She is one of the major figures of Iowa basketball who played with Northern Iowa from 1979 to 1983. One of the greatest basketball coaches of all time, Bluder’s legacy with the Iowa program will also be featured in the book.
