“Can do some things that [have] never been done" Pro Bowl Lineman Aaron Donald Believes Sky is the Limit For Supremely Talented Receiver Puka Nacua

With 10-time Pro Bowler Aaron Donald officially announcing his retirement from the game earlier this year, the torch has officially been passed to a new generation of Los Angeles Rams stars.

The Rams entered the 2023 season as one of the youngest rosters in the league, but somehow still managed to qualify for the playoffs. There is plenty to young talent on the roster with Puka Nacua perhaps the most exciting wide receiver prospects we have seen in years for the franchise.

Fans may not have been sure what to expect from Nacua when the organization drafted him in the fifth round, but the Utah native was sensational in his rookie season. Nacua finished the year with 1486 receiving yards over 105 receptions and recorded six touchdowns.

According to Donald, this is only the beginning for the 22-year-old.

“I think he can do some things that [have] never been done in this league. He"s just got to keep working, but he was fun to watch. I really enjoyed watching him, all the awards he was able to surpass, and break records he was able to break as a rookie.

The three-time defensive player was speaking on Green Light with Chris Long and said he was impressed with what he saw from Nucua in his rookie season.

Nacua has made an instant impact in the league. He will be looking to follow up his first year with a strong 2024 season. Despite losing Aaron Donald, the Rams are sure to once again be contenders with Puka Nacua, Matt Stafford and Copper Kupp leading the offense.
