Derek Carr, is gearing upto face his old team, the Raiders.

This renowned sportsman has expressed his excitement about playing opposing his former teammate, Maxx Crosby.

In nine seasons with the Raiders, and another with the Saints, Carr became a sporting icon.

“I am looking forward to it. I cannot wait,” Carr said Friday, specifically in regard to playing his former Raiders teammate, Maxx Crosby, while answering fan questions on social media.

A second-round pick by the Raiders in 2014, Derek Carr’s astonishing career stats made him a sporting legend.

Holding the franchise record, Carr boasts 35,222 passing yards and 217 touchdowns. Not to mention his two team leadings to the playoffs, and his participation in four Pro Bowls.

However, the last of these Pro Bowls turned out to be an awkward presence during his final season, foreshadowing his sideline in the last two regular-season games as a Raider.

Nevertheless, his successful transition to the Saints, after being released, presented Carr with new challenges and opportunities.

Carr’s first season with the Saints was a rollercoste ride. Despite instances of struggling with consistency and missing the playoffs, he significantly lowered his interceptions from 14 in each of the previous years to eight.

Still presenting an impressive record, his 25 passing touchdowns were his second most since 2017.

With a lighthearted note on handling Maxx Crosby on field, Derek Carr joked, “Hopefully I’m going to try and start a fight with him and punch him, and then have the ref only see him throw his punch back.”
