Kirk Cousins, the Minnesota Vikings’ quarterback, is full of praises for his former teammate, K.J. Osborn.

According to Cousins, who recently spoke on The Big Podcast with Shaq, Osborn is a promising wide receiver who didn’t receive his rightful share of opportunities during his tenure with the Vikings.

Cousins strongly believes that Osborn is on his way to a breakout season with the Patriots, primarily due to the team’s lack of established wideouts.

“Pretty much all of them, but K.J. Osborn is a receiver who was with us in Minnesota who was kind of in the shadow of Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen,” Cousins said, via Mark Daniels of MassLive.com. “And I always felt like K.J. was better than the opportunities he got. He went to free agency and went to New England, and I’d love to see him have a huge year in New England kind of with a bigger role than what he had in Minnesota to show what he could do.”

Osborn’s move seeking greener pastures at New England has set the stage for potential career enhancement, unfolding a unique opportunity that could prove rewarding for the player.

During his last three seasons with the Vikings, Osborn recorded an impressive 158 catches amassing 1,845 yards along with 15 touchdowns.

However, according to Cousins, his performance could have been even greater given a level playing field.
