The famed sports television personality and host of ESPN’s “First Take” Stephen A. Smith, has found himself at crossroads with the New York Knicks community over his recent slip-up on live television.

The New York Knicks recently defeated the Milwaukee Bucks with a final score of 122-109. As the analyst was providing his facts, he mentioned that Quentin Grimes has “looked good”, which later caused an uproar in the fan base.

The guard was traded to the Detroit Pistons in February for Bojan Bogdanovic. Smith later shared that Grimes got traded and corrected himself, mentioning, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean Grimes. He got traded.”

It was later also indicated that the producer stated to Smith that Grimes got traded. The Knicks community expressed their displeasure at Smith’s slip up which got more weight as he is a known Knicks fan.

The New York Knicks are currently occupying fourth place in the Eastern Conference and for the season they are 46-32. They have defeated the Bucks, who are second in the same conference and will next face the Chicago Bulls. After Bulls, Knick will headlock with the Boston Celtics.
