In March 2024, accusations arose through a lawsuit filed by a man named Sheldon “Shuck” Frazier, also known as Lil’ Rod. He claimed Diddy ran a drug ring, engaging in human trafficking and assault. Homeland Security reportedly raided Diddy’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles following these accusations.

Next, Brendan Paul, a former basketball player for Syracuse, was arrested at a Miami airport around the same time as the raids on Diddy’s homes. News reports linked Paul’s arrest to the investigation into Diddy, with claims Paul acted as a “drug mule” for Diddy.

There haven’t been any official charges against Diddy himself concerning the drug ring allegations. It’s also unclear what evidence, if any, tied Paul to Diddy beyond the timing of the arrest.

Now, NBA player Jeff Teague, while on the “Club 520” podcast, reacted humorously to the news of Paul’s arrest being connected to Diddy. Teague joked that Paul wasn’t a high scorer in college, saying, “That boy averaged six points. Not even six points, six percs. He was a demon on campus”

Note: Percs is likely a reference to Percocet, a prescription pain medication.

Teague also made jokes about Paul’s appearance and mugshot which emerged after Brendan’s arrest.

“Did you see the mugshot? It was like Breaking Bad for real,” Teague said.

Jeff Teague recently transitioned into coaching after working as a regional scout for the Atlanta Hawks following his retirement from playing in 2021. He played for five NBA teams across 12 seasons: Atlanta Hawks (most notably), Indiana Pacers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Milwaukee Bucks, and Orlando Magic. Jeff achieved All-Star status once, in 2015 with the Atlanta Hawks. He also won an NBA championship in 2021 with the Milwaukee Bucks.
