San Antonio Brahmas Lose Key Players De La Haye Jr. and Mollette to Injuries After Clash with Memphis Showboats

The San Antonio Brahmas faced some tough news tonight as kicker Donald De La Haye Jr. (known as Deestroying) and centre Alex Mollette were both sidelined due to injuries sustained in their game against the Memphis Showboats.

De La Haye Jr., nicknamed “Deestroying," was placed on the injured reserve list, likely due to his tackle during the game against the Showboats. He seemed uncomfortable afterwards, indicating that his tackling technique might not meet professional standards.

It"s uncertain whether we"ll see Deestroying attempt any field goals soon, depending on the severity of his injury. Although he tried a 57-yard field goal in week one, it didn"t count because DC had called a timeout. Unfortunately, the kick was just wide to the right.

However, Deestroying"s kickoffs showed promise, leading the league after week one with an average of 74.2 yards per attempt and a hangtime of 4.2 seconds. He even managed to kick two balls 79 yards, which is considered ideal in the UFL.

The hope is that Deestroying"s shoulder injury won"t keep him out for the entire season. For now, the team will need to closely monitor the kicking situation. It"s likely that Matt Ammendola, who was part of the team during training camp, will be brought back, but nothing is certain yet. Time will tell how things unfold.
