Terron Armstead Talks Retirement Reflections and Dolphins’ Comeback Plans for 2024 NFL Season

During the last campaign, the Miami Dolphins were dominating the games however after the middle season, things changed for the squad. Miami achieved great feats in the season and concluded their 2023 campaign with being second in the AFC East.

In one of the recent interviews, five-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Terron Armstead has recently shared his thoughts on retirement, and how the Dolphins will come back in the 2024 NFL season.

He will be playing in the next season and last year he appeared in ten games due to multiple injuries he was not able to participate in more games. The Second-team All-Pro of 2018 shared via NFL, “In all honesty, the past two, maybe three seasons, I’ve taken time to have that evaluation period, to really process. This game comes with a lot, a lot of physical, mental and emotional toll, so just really taking time to process and like I said, evaluate what I wanted to do. Because when I’m doing this thing, I would never want to be halfway in. Full commitment, full investment. So this offseason I was a little more vocal about that evaluation period, which raised a lot more coverage, but I went through that process for the past two or three years.”

However, despite all the changes that have recently occurred in the squad, the prominent offensive tackle still believes that the Dolphins can make a great run in the 2024 NFL season.

Armstead further shared, “It’s all in house, it’s all in house. We don’t really look at all the other moving pieces within the division, or around the league, because we feel like we have enough. We’re talented enough, we’re skilled enough, we’re tough enough, we just have to do. It’s now time to show improvements, to show we can win those big games and live those big moments. So it doesn’t matter who’s traded, we don’t look at that, we have enough to beat anybody at full strength, and that’s really our mindset, it’s our mentality. We have that confidence, but we just have to go out and do it.”

Miami reached great heights under the guidance of head coach, Mike McDaniel, however, crashed in the NFL wild card round game against the Chiefs. The Dolphins also became the first team in the league to post 70 points in a game since 1966. Dolphins led the league in offensive yards and achieved crucial spots in multiple categories.
