In breaking NFL news the Eagles will take on the Packers in the opening game of the season in Brazil.
The NFL revealed this morning that the Eagles and Green Bay will square off on September 6th in Sao Paulo.
The South American fans will he in for a treat as the two rivals clash for the first time since 2022 and in their first opening day clash in 15 seasons.
Both teams are fresh off a playoff campaign in 2023.
The prime time game will be broadcast exclusively on streaming service Peacock.
“The Eagles organization is honored to have been selected to play in the first-ever National Football League game in South America,” said Jeffrey Lurie, Philadelphia Eagles Chairman and CEO, earlier this year.

The NFL is excited for the historic event.
“This landmark first international game in South America demonstrates the ongoing expansion of our global footprint,” said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell during Super Bowl Week. “Playing on Friday night of Week 1 is a unique way to highlight our international growth and ambitions.”
