The New York Knicks are currently third in the Eastern Conference and for the season they are 47-32. They have defeated the Chicago Bulls with a concluding score of 117-128.

In the earlier matchup the Bulls were victorious with a final score of 108-100. In that game, the All-Star guard, Jalen Brunson posted 35 points, 11 assists, six rebounds, and two steals.

During the latest game, Brunson gave one of his best performances and registered 45 points, eight assists, and three rebounds. His shooting percentage was 54.2%. Bulls point guard, Coby White mentioned regarding the game the Knicks displayed, "Hats off to them. They’re very physical, they’re a really good team, they play to their identity. Brunson’s a m***********."

Brunson during the post-game interview also shed light on his mentality coming into the game and how the Knicks were prepared as they were defeated in their previous meeting. He mentioned, "Mentality stays the same, approach stays the same. But we knew that they got us last time we were here, and we needed a bounce back. Now, they’re going to play hard the entire game and they’re not going to quit and that’s just how Billy [Donovan] has them playing."

"Despite the record and whatever, I mean they got some guys over there that just play hard non-stop. So got to give them a lot of credit. So we knew we had to bring our A-game, and just found a way to win."

From the Knicks side, OG Anunoby posted 24 points, one assist, and three rebounds. Donte DiVincenzo registered 21 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds. Josh Hart added 17 points to the scoreboard, including 7 assists and 13 rebounds.
