Former Super Bowl Champion Terrell Suggs Arrested on Assault Charges in Maricopa County, Arizona

The former two-time Super Bowl champion and seven-time Pro Bowl linebacker, Terrell Suggs, has been reportedly arrested in Maricopa County, Arizona, under assault charges. 

The jail records revealed, as per TMZ, that Suggs was charged with one count of assault and one count of offense against public order. The spokesperson from the jail has told TMZ that the NFL Defensive Player of the Year has been released. 

Suggs spent the majority of his famed career with the Baltimore Ravens and also played for the Arizona Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs. He was picked up in the 2003 NFL Draft in the first round as the 10th pick. He led an illustrious career and was given multiple awards as well. 

The events that took place, due to which the two-time Super Bowl champion got arrested, have been unclear. The subsequent developments in the case have not yet been disclosed as well. In his career, he recorded 886 tackles, 139 sacks, 39 forced fumbles, 15 fumble recoveries, and 60 pass defended.
