The Minnesota Timberwolves anxiously anticipate the return of their four-time All-Star player, Karl-Anthony Towns.
A torn meniscus in Towns’ left knee has kept him side-lined since March 7.
But according to league insiders, the star is slated to hit the court again in one of the team’s final three regular-season sessions.

Towns underwent effective surgery on March 12, leaving him recuperating since. His output on the court was sorely missed as Minnesota worked its way through 17 grueling games without him.
Despite his absence, Minnesota displayed admirable fortitude, posting a 12-5 record and capturing the No. 1 spot in the Western Conference on a tiebreaker over the Nuggets.
Over 60 games this season, Towns has displayed stellar court performance by averaging 22.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 3. assists with a career-high 42.3 percent shooting from the 3-point range.
Towns’ timely return is set to give the Timberwolves a sudden edge as they embark on their playoff series.
His participation will undoubtedly offer a much-needed morale and skill boost, boosting Minnesota’s chances of advancing past the first round for just the second time in franchise history.
