The Buccaneers are hard at work structuring a new deal that will make Antoine Winfield Jr the highest paid safety in the league.
Dov Kleinman says, “there is optimism it will get done”.
Winfield was the overall 45th pick in the 2020 draft and will be in his final year of his rookie contract.
A Superbowl champipm and first team All-Pro in 2023, his playing future is well set, at Tampa Bay it would seem.
In week 13 and 18 of last season he was named as the Defensive Player of the Week respectively.
