Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault, after he and another driver were involved in a six-vehicle crash in Dallas.

Rice, 23, was driving a Lamborghini SUV at the time of the crash.

Arrest warrants have also been issued for the other driver, Theodore Knox, who was driving a Corvette. Both drivers were speeding in the far-left lane and lost control of their vehicles, causing the chain collision. The driver of the Corvette also left the scene without checking if anyone needed medical attention.

Four people sustained minor injuries in the crash.

10.8 grams of marijuana, credit cards, a check, a diamond chain, and a Chiefs playbook were found in the cars. Rice was leasing the Lamborghini and owned the Corvette.

Rice took responsibility for his part in the crash on his Instagram story. Aggravated assault is a second-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

Rice played college football at SMU and was drafted by the Chiefs in 2022. He is currently not in custody.
