Reflecting on his impressive defensive display, Clowney credited his teammates for their support and highlighted the importance of making crucial plays in key moments.
The game saw intense action down the stretch, with Schroder making key plays on both ends of the court, including a steal from former teammate Garrett Temple and a decisive block by Clowney.
Claxton praised the Nets’ defensive effort and emphasized their potential for growth and improvement in the future.
Meanwhile, Mikal Bridges’ absence in the fourth quarter was explained by coach Kevin Ollie as a strategic decision, with Bridges confirming it was part of a plan for managing playing time.
