The former Super Bowl champion, six-time First-Team All-Pro and seven-time Pro Bowl star, Philadelphia Eagles, Jason Kelce, has reportedly received two Emmy nominations for his documentary “Kelce”.
The 45th Sports Emmy Awards have nominated the Prime Video documentary, which provided an intimate glimpse into Kelce’s life both in the field and outside of it. The documentary, has received two nominations for Outstanding Long Documentary and Outstanding Editing Long Form.
Kelce has also become Prime Video’s most-watched documentary and the head of Prime Video’s Original head of sports content, Matt Newman, shared last year, “Kelce is the perfect example of the type of documentary we want to make at Amazon. It’s as much a story of family, parenting, and brotherhood as it is about football. We’re energized by the opportunity to take sports fans behind the scenes and into the lives of their favorite athletes.”
The documentary achieved great success as the football community got a glimpse of their favorite star and the brothers, Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce also garnered attention due to their involvement with the singer, Taylor Swift. Both the brothers have achieved great fame in the league and the family dynamics has been one of the factors for their rise.
