The show also offers insightful commentary with both icons analyzing the game and as per Awful Announcing, Peyton Manning during Pat McAfee’s show mentioned, “The plan was sort of the same philosophy. We started with four guests in year one; we went to three last year. We tried to have three this past season, and we’ve had some late cancellations; we’ve only had two guests, so it’s given more time for Eli to make fun of me. It’s certainly given us maybe a little more time to talk some football, so maybe that’s something we’ve kind of stumbled on to. But it’s been fun.”
Other shows such as “Peyton’s Places” and “Eli Places” have also garnered positive attention from the audiences. In Peyton’s show, the icon travels across the country exploring football’s cultural impact and legacy whereas Eli explores the depth of college football world.
