According to reports, McLemore was expected to appear for arraignment in Clackamas County Circuit Court later on Wednesday.
The Sacramento Kings drafted McLemore with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft. Throughout his career, he played for various teams including the Memphis Grizzlies and the Portland Trail Blazers, among others.
Despite flashes of promise, McLemore’s NBA journey was marked by inconsistency, leading him to play overseas in China, Greece, and Spain following his tenure in the NBA.
McLemore averaged 9 points and 2.3 rebounds across 556 games throughout his NBA career. However, he failed to live up to the expectations set during his college career at Kansas.
