The former legendary NFL Buffalo Bills running back, actor, and broadcaster, O.J. Simpson, has passed away at the age of 76 from cancer. The multiple-award winning athlete, was selected in the 1969 NFL Draft in the first round as the first pick.
On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer.
He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren.

The five-time First-team All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowl achieved incredible heights during his illustrious career. In 1994, Simpson was involved in the case regarding the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman. However, in 1995, he was acquitted in the trial, which subsequently garnered a high-level of attention.
In 1985, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and once again faced arrest in 2007 due to armed robbery and kidnapping. He served his sentence and was released on parole in 2017. He won the Heisman Trophy in 1968 and was a national champion as well.
Simpson is considered one of the greatest football players in the league, who played with the Buffalo Bills from 1969 to 1977 and then joined the San Francisco 49ers, with whom he played from 1978 to 1979.
