Like many great NFL kickers, Pat McAfee started out as an exceptional soccer player in his early days. The 36-year-old decided to leave his playing days behind when he retired from football back in 2014 to pursue a career in the media sector. It now appears that the popular host could now be making a comeback to the sports world.
During a recent episode of the Pat McAfee Show, the well-known media personality announced that he will be fielding a team at the TST league. McAfee will be on the field himself and we can expect to see a huge turnout to see the former NFL star in action.

The TST league is a 7 versus 7 tournament that will take place in June in Cary, North Carolina. The league has expanded from 32 teams to 48 teams this year and McAfee insists he is not going to miss out on the action. Another major incentive for teams is that there is a $1 million prize for the winners.
McAfee is mistaken if he thinks this is going to be an easy competition. Several former professionals are set to take place in the tournament that will be played over five days.
The sports analyst did not give up too much about his team but did say that former USA mens national team goalkeeper Tony Meola would be leading out his team.
