LSU gymnast and social media sensation Olivia Dunne experienced a frightening incident during practice when she fell while performing a balancing act on the bars.
Dunne shared a video of the fall on her Instagram, where she humorously acknowledged the mishap with the caption “Bars: 1 Livvy: 0.”
The clip showed her initially sticking a landing on the bars during a competition, followed by footage of her falling and landing hard on the mat. A coach quickly rushed to her aid after the fall.
Olivia Dunne experienced some health concerns during the 2024 LSU Tigers gymnastics season. Rumors first swirled after a cryptic comment by Dunne on TikTok. Responding to a fan question about the rest of the season, she said she was “praying my body stays in one piece.”
In the late January, Dunne missed two meets for LSU, leading to further speculation. Next, in late February, Dunne posted a video on TikTok celebrating her return to competition after a month-long absence.

Currently, Olivia Dunne is dating baseball player Paul Skenes. They have been confirmed to be a couple since August 2023. Dunne has even featured Skenes on her social media channels.
Paul Skenes was drafted first overall by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2023 Major League Baseball draft. This made history, as he and his LSU teammate Dylan Crews became the first college teammates to be selected with the top two picks ever. Skenes signed a record-breaking signing bonus with the Pirates and was immediately recognized as a top prospect.
