Isabella Strahan, daughter of former NFL star Michael Strahan, has faced another setback in her battle against medulloblastoma, a type of brain tumour. In a recent YouTube video, the 19-year-old shared that she had developed a fever after her second round of chemotherapy, leading to the need for a third craniotomy—a procedure to access her brain.
Isabella described undergoing various medical procedures, including MRIs and CT scans, and getting an IV inserted, which caused her significant pain. Despite receiving pain medication, she expressed that the pain was still intense, making it difficult for her to move or eat. She also had to undergo another surgery due to shortness of breath, pushing back her chemotherapy schedule.
NFL legend Michael Strahan’s daughter Isabella's chemo treatment has been delayed after her 3rd unexpected brain surgery, she said.
"Not gonna lie, I’ve been crying a lot. I’m in a lot of pain. It literally hurts to do anything"

This news was particularly disappointing for Isabella, as she had been informed earlier that her chemotherapy treatments would be reduced from six to four, allowing her to finish by May instead of July. However, with the delay caused by her recent health complications, she now faces a longer recovery period.
Isabella started experiencing symptoms of her illness in October, during her freshman year at the University of Southern California. Since then, she has been sharing her cancer treatment journey on YouTube, documenting both the challenges and moments of hope.
Despite the setbacks, Isabella remains determined to complete her chemotherapy and return to USC in the fall. Her strength in adversity inspires many as she fights against her illness.
