A recent social media post by linebacker Von Miller exudes a lot more than ordinary “pre-draft predictions”.
Last year, the Bills had Von Miller contribute at their Scouting Combine ensemble. Impressed by Miller’s impressive scouting skills, Beane had foreseen Miller’s potential as a future NFL general manager.
“I do think he’ll do it,” Beane said of Miller’s goal to be a G.M. “He seems like – as I’ve gotten to know him – when he’s something on his mind, he’s serious about it. And to me, he could have had a meeting or two with me and then not brought it up again. And I mean to me, he’s dug deeper and deeper.”
A recent social media update by Miller, centered on Beane’s apparent trade intentions, hence, has caught significant attention.
Miller’s post linked to Beane’s propensity to include the linebacker input in the Bills’ pre-draft process.
The video was captioned, “Brandon Beane arriving at the 2024 NFL draft to trade up for a wide receiver. In Beane we TRUST.” Beane’s own admissions reinforce these suggestive signals.

Despite the clear intentions, the Bills’ draft capital may fall short of acquiring top wide receivers such as Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, or Rome Odunze.
Nonetheless, determined maneuvering might still bring a player like Brian Thomas Jr. or Xavier Worthy within their grasp.
The Bills currently own the 28th pick in the first round of the draft. With the right negotiation and strategizing, this position could be effectively utilized to trade-up for the right candidate.
