The University of Denver achieved a monumental feat when they won their record 10th national championship on Saturday to overtake the University of Michigan. A 2-0 victory against a historic powerhouse in Boston College saw Denver lock up yet another their second title in three seasons.
Jared Wright and Rieger Lorenz scored goals in the second period and goalie Matt Davis has 35 saves, but it was the Buium brothers that seemed to grab the headlines after the game.
After an exhilarating win, the Pioneers were naturally excited and Zeev Buium couldn’t contain his emotions. During a postgame interview with ESPN’s Taylor Tannenbaum, Zeev dropped a very audible f-bomb on national television which he may now be regretting.
"It's f*ckin' unbelievable! Oh, sorry. Uh, it's great." 🏒🏆🎙️📺 pic.twitter.com/K0j8OfHBWT

“It’s f***** unbelievable! Oh, sorry. Uh, it’s great.” said Buium.
The video of the moment from popular sports media site Awful Announcing has gone viral online. Zeev’s brother, Shai Buium, can been seen on the clip looking around and smiling after the mishap.
In fairness to Zeev Buium, the young man did apologize almost immediately after the mistake and took a more well-mannered approach.
The Pioneers last won the championship back in 2022 and also won one back in 2017. The team will be delighted after topping the leaderboard in national championships with 10 total titles.
