In the midst of ongoing changes in Buffalo this offseason, including the significant trade of star wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans.

Buffalo Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins believes that the team’s Super Bowl window is still open, this was disclosed in a recent interview on The Jim Rome Show.

Despite acknowledging the Diggs trade as a “haymaker,” Dawkins expressed faith in his teammates and confirmed his confidence in the Bills.

According to Dawkins, the Bills “know what they are doing,” and led by dynamic quarterback Josh Allen, Anything is possible.”

“When you’ve got a team of guys that lead with good hearts, good athleticism, good football, and when we put that helmet and them pads on and that jersey and it says Bills, that window is always open,” Dawkins said. “It’s always open. Like it could be a little bit more, but nah, it’s open. And it’ll always be open. And as long as Josh is at quarterback, that’s what I can talk for.”

Diggs, recorded 1,183 yards and eight touchdowns, consistently surpassed 1,000 receiving yards for six straight seasons, all with the Bills.

Now, quarterback Josh Allen must navigate the 2024 season without his go-to receiving partner.

Diggs’ departure wasn’t the only jolt for the Bills. Gabe Davis, the team’s second-leading receiver, signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in March.

This move, along with the Diggs trade, has escalated the requirement for new talent within the team’s ranks.

Despite significant exits, the Bills still have competent players in their rosters, such as tight end Dalton Kincaid and receiver Khalil Shakir.

Known for their impressive performances last season, they amassed 673 and 611 receiving yards, respectively.
