Four-time MVP Quarterback Aaron Rodgers Spotted At New York Jets Voluntary Offseason Program

Four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers was spotted showing up to the New York Jets voluntary offseason training program in a move that was surprising to many. The training program is not mandatory and Rodgers had opted to have a limited role in preseason training with the Green Bay Packers in the past.

The news will be music to the ears of Jets fans who are hoping for a bounce back season after an underwhelming 7-10 season. A big part of that was due to Rodgers being injured in the first game of the Jets’ season and missing the bulk of the season.

Rodgers seems to have fully recovered from an achilles heal injury that saw him miss the entire 2023 season and will be desperate to return after a difficult season where he could only watch from the sidelines. There were high expectations for the California native when the Jets took on his $150 million deal from the Green Bay Packers in 2023. Unfortunately, things have not quite panned out the way Jets fans had hoped.

When healthy, Rodgers remains one of the league’s top quarterbacks. The 40-year-old finished the 2022 season with 3695 passing yards, 350 completions and 26 touchdowns.

Over 19 seasons in the league, he has racked up, 59055 passing yards, 475 touchdowns and 105 interceptions.
