Jacksonville Jaguars Release Social Media Clip Announcing Highly Popular Throwback Uniform For 2024 Season

The Jacksonville Jaguars remain one of the newer franchises in the NFL but it is hard to deny that they have one of the most fashionable and unique jerseys in the league. The teal, black and gold is one of the most recognisable color schemes when the team takes their place on the field.

The Jaguars have been around since 1995 and while their new uniforms are sleek an bold, some fans have been yearning for a return to the throwback jerseys. It appears the fanbase will now get exactly what they want.

In a recent video from the Jaguars official X account, the team announced that that they will releasing a throwback version of the uniform in 2024. The 42 second video which is captioned “back by popular demand,” starts off with a logo of the outstretched Jaguar. It goes on to display multiple fan tweets calling for a return to the older look.

The clip has already gone viral with over 480,000 views.

The Jaguars teased the traditional look but fell short of posting an image of the actual uniform. It is unclear whether the helmet would also include the full jaguar, instead of just the head which is on the current helmet. It will also be interesting to see how often the organization plays in the uniform next season.

Nostalgic Jaguars fans have been asking for a throwback version of the jersey for years and the team has finally delivered. Hopefully, it can lead to a few more playoff wins for an organization that is still in search of its first ever Super Bowl.
