The Los Angeles Rams started the 2023 NFL season with one of the youngest rosters in the league but their is one position where they are loaded with talent. The meteoric rise of Puka Nacua provided the team with a much-needed boost last year. Nacua, combined with 2021 NFL Offensive Player of the Year Cooper Kupp, means the Rams boast one of the most dangerous wide receiver duos in the league.
After finishing his rookie year with 105 receptions, 1486 yards, 14.2 yards per reception and six touchdowns, it may have been understandable for the 22-year-old Nacua to be supremely confident about his abilities. Instead, Nacua remains grounded, humble and is taking an extremely mature approach as we approach the 2024 season.
Per a recent piece from NFL.com, Nacua spoke about continuing to grow as a players and highlighted Kupp as the real star of this talented receiving corp.
“I feel like I’m still trying to reach Coop’s expectations. Because he set the standard for us in the wide receiver room and for a lot of receivers in the NFL. I mean, to be the triple-crown winner,” said Nacua when speaking of Kupp’s abilities. “The standard is still set very high, and I don’t think I’m close to reaching it.”
Even after a record-setting rookie year, Puka Nacua noted he's teammates with a triple-crown receiver who won Super Bowl MVP. Looks up to Cooper Kupp, still trying to reach his expectations.

In 2021, Copper Kupp led the NFL in receptions (145), receiving touchdowns (16) and receiving yards (1947). He became the first wide receiver to win the prestigious triple-crown since Steve Smith in 2005.
Kupp managed just 12 games last year due to injury but looks fit and healthy for the upcoming season. Rams fans will be buzzing about the idea of Nacua and Kupp teaming up for a full season.
