It has been nearly a month since Odell Beckham Jr. posted a farewell message on social media to his former teammates at the Baltimore Ravens. Along with the post came the rumors that Beckham Jr. had found a new landing spot. NFL insider Josina Anderson even posted on her X account a few days after the message that the wide receiver was “planning to visit the Dolphins.”
Speaking with reporters on Tuesday, Miami Dolphins GM Chris Grier insisted there was “nothing imminent” when it came to a contract for Odell Beckham Jr.

Beckham was a standout player at the University of Louisiana and was a first round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Since making his debut, he has gone on to feature in 110 regular season games with the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams and Baltimore Ravens. Over nine seasons, he has racked 566 receptions, 7932 receiving yards and 60 touchdowns.
Injuries have limited the star receivers contributions over the last few season with him appearing in just 35 regular season games since the 2020 season. That may be another factor preventing teams from taking a chance on him.

There is still plenty of time for the three-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion to find a landing spot but the 31-year-old may have to compromise on salary and length of contract as he prepares for his tenth year in the NFL.
