The three-time Pro Bowl quarterback of the Detroit Lions, Jared Goff, is in the last year of his contract and has enjoyed great success with the Lions squad.
The veteran quarterback has produced impressive feats during his last two seasons with the squad and as he enters his final year, there have been questions regarding his contract extension as to whether he will continue with the Lions or not.
During the press conference of the Lions’ offseason workouts, Goff remained silent regarding his and the team’s negotiations regarding his contract extension.

The top-notch quarterback had earlier expressed his desire to remain with the Lions squad and stated how he “would love to be here for a long time”. Goff gave incredible performances in the last two campaigns and was also ranked among the top-five quarterbacks in two categories as well.
He also shared, as per SI, “Yeah, it’s been amazing. Yeah, I love it here and would love to be here for a long time. It’s been really, really special, like I mentioned, playing in front of these fans and being able to provide, you know, a winning culture in the last year and a half or so. To see them experience that and be able to be a part of that has been fun. But by no means are we satisfied or happy to be here or any of that. It’s about what’s next.”
Goff joined the Lions in 2021 and since then has had the opportunity to feel the appreciation of the fervent fan base the club has revolved around especially considering the last playoff run. Due to the support and grounding fundamentals of the team and fans, the quarterback has been able to see the team in a more positive perspective.
