Brock Purdy, the quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, denied claims that NFL games are scripted during a Q&A session with young fans.
This comes after jokes about the league being scripted gained attention.

Despite the jokes, many fans still believe the NFL is scripted like professional wrestling.
Purdy also danced around a question about his ranking among the top quarterbacks in the league.
Purdy is determined to end the 49ers’ three straight Super Bowl losses, particularly after their defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII.
Since then, Purdy got married and enjoyed a honeymoon in Turks & Caicos.
He recently held a youth football camp at Levi’s Stadium, where he interacted with enthusiastic young fans and taught them various football skills, including accurate passing.
Purdy is committed to inspiring the next generation of football fans.
Brock Purdy, the talented quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, impressed onlookers by throwing a perfect pass into a trash can during Purdy’s Youth Football Camp.
The kids were amazed and cheered him on, showing that his accuracy rivals Patrick Mahomes’.
Attending the camp provided more than just a chance to meet Purdy; participants also received coaching from top regional coaches, engaged in skill tests and drills, and competed against each other.
Purdy’s heroics extend beyond the football field, as he recently saved a woman and her dog from a coyote attack while filming a commercial in San Francisco.
AMAZING: #49ers QB Brock Purdy apparently saved a CBS reporter who was being stalked by a coyote ❤️

The woman, CBS News anchor Sara Donchey, expressed gratitude for Purdy’s quick thinking. With a successful season behind him, Purdy’s NFL career looks promising, but he may have a future in animal control as well.
Fans reacted as follows.
He's a really likeable player. Too bad 9er fans always setting him up for hate saying he's elite.

Couldn’t answer the second question bc he’s not top 10

It is, we know it is because Brock Purdy sucks but somehow made a SB

Of course it isn't scripted. It isn't the WWE. But you better believe it is influenced as the NFL is running a trillion dollar entertainment business. #FTTB

Aye atleast he has the self awareness too not overhype himself like his fans do I love purdy man
— trey (@GoatedLee) April 16, 2024
Handled that second question like the pro he is: Can't say "yes" without damaging the underdog image, but won't undermine himself and just say "no".

He will get a lot of liking if only he is not a 49er

That's as believable as the 49ers winning super bowl 58. In other words, it never happened

Brock Purdy being from Arizona you would think he's use to seeing Coyotes.

I would be more concerned for the dog coyotes. Don’t really attack grown adults like that.
