Well-known television personality Colin Cowherd has been critical of four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers in the past. During a recent episode of the Herd, the popular host once again went after the star quarterback for his controversial views.
Per popular sports media website Awful Announcing, Cowherd called out Rodger for his recent take on Dr. Fauci and his views on an HIV conspiracy theory.
“The media gets frustrated. But you got to remember something. Aaron is single, never married, no kids, doesn’t connect with his family….he’s got nobody to call him out on his crap,” said Cowherd.
The issue stems from a recent episode of the Look Into It podcast with Eddie Bravo where Rodgers went off about the federal government being responsible for HIV/AIDS. Cowherd responded by saying many people have had these wild theories over the years, but did not have the platform to share their views.

“Now, all the conspiracy people have platforms. They’ve always existed,” said Cowherd.
Rodgers continues to make headlines for all the wrong reasons during the offseason. The former Super Bowl champion recently moved to the New York Jets but an injury last season prevented him from playing a significant amount of game. It will be interesting to see whether he can reach his previous highs in 2024, or if his off-field antics continue to be a distraction for the New York Jets.
