The veteran tight end was selected in the 2015 NFL Draft in the sixth round as the 204th pick by the Baltimore Ravens. He played with the Ravens from 2015 to 2018 and then joined the Las Vegas Raiders and played with them from 2018 to 2022.
However, the organization has not yet given the Pro Bowl tight end a time frame. Both the general manager, Joe Schoen, and the squad have decided that they will give time to Waller to come to his decision.
He had concluded his last campaign with 52 catches for 552 yards including one touchdown. He played in 12 games and has a $10.5 million in base salary and if Waller decides to retire, $6 million in cap space would be available.
