The Arizona Coyotes played their final game against the Edmonton Oilers and defeated them with a concluding score of 5-2. With the win, the Coyotes gave supporters their one final victory and received a ton of affection from them.
The victory became noteworthy as the players stayed on the ice to express their gratitude to the supporters. The Mullett Arena saw spectators give the final standing ovation to the team. The franchise has been playing in the state for twenty-eight years and fans were emotional; understandably.
It is anticipated that the National Hockey League will, in a few days, formally declare that the Arizona Coyotes will shift to Salt Lake City. According to USA Today, the team shifted in 1996 from Winnipeg to Phoenix. The crows during the final game were passionate about their team and chants of “Salt Lake Sucks” could be heard as well.
