Paul Reed, small forward for the rapidly improving 76ers admits he would rather face the Knicks than Boston in the playoffs.
“We wanted the Knicks matchup, that’s the easier team,” he said.
The 76ers finished seventh in the Eastern Conference, well behind the Celtics in first place with a 64-18 record.
The Knicks take on the 76ers on Sunday and Tuesday.
The 76ers are fresh off a 105-104-point win over last season’s finalists the Miami Heat.
