“Whatever position I’ll be in I will give it my all.” – Bengals safety Dax Hill excited by new arrivals and wants to fight for his spot, in whatever position the coach needs

The Bengals employed 2022 first round pick Dax Hill as the starting safety last season but trade moves could see him shifted down the order.

Hill played all 17 games last year and the Michigan player looked likely to hold on to his starting spot.

But the arrival of Geno Stone and Vonn Bell as free agents will put the youngster under pressure.

“It helps to have clarity, but that’s what training camp and things like that are for, OTAs,” Hill told WKRC. “It’s kind of right now really just setting the blueprint for what’s to come. Whatever position I’ll be in I will give it my all.”

Hill was productive last season in an unproductive team with 110 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 11 passes defended and two interceptions.
